Some factors will prevent the software opening properly. I have listed the ones of which I am aware below.
- Anti-virus software or firewall causing problems.
Some AV software (like Norton’s) have a reputation system in place that relies on customer feedback to judge new software. As new software has not been around long enough to prove itself safe, it is automatically assumed to be untrusted. Please rest assured that I have ran AW Auto-mate through virustotal.com and it has had a clean bill of health from all but three of the AV systems, and the ones that flagged it are, I am told, somewhat inconsistent.Try creating an exception for the folder awautomate.exe is in and see if that works.
- Chinese characters or other special characters in the file path.
The licensing system I use to protect AWAM cannot recognise Chinese characters or other such special characters.Try moving the folder to a location that does not contain any special characters.
